Coelho's styling vision is the culmination of a richly lived life. A successful Ford model as a young woman in New York turned actress and television host, she has always been known for her taste and style. When she married Sonny Bono, she applied that special touch to the star-studded Bono's restaurants the couple opened and operated during their ten years together. Simultaneously, Coelho hit the street as a reporter for "HBO Entertainment News" covering the Emmys, Grammys, and Academy Awards. Later, on her own, she launched the successful celebrity resale boutique A Star Is Worn on Los Angeles' fashionable Melrose Avenue. With her second marriage and the birth of her first child, Coelho took time off to become a stay-at-home mom and wife on a rustic California ranch.
