Susan Morrow, APR brings 25+ years of experience in reputation management and communications strategic activities. She develops and implements visibility-building, communications programs for diversified business owners and organizations. In addition, Ms. Morrow trains and counsels executives on working with the media and helps prepare them for speaking presentations.
Ms. Morrow also is a crisis management specialist and helps organizations in the areas of internal planning, communications with media, community, and industry audiences, and counseling during actual crisis situations.
She speaks to industry and community groups about brand visibility and building reputation through communications strategies and tools and the importance of crisis planning and preparation for individuals and businesses.
As an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Ms. Morrow has served in local, district, and national leadership roles for the organization. She is also active on public relations panels and has led seminars for PRSA and other professional associations. Other activities include original writing of several published articles for industry publications.
In addition to her professional organization, Ms. Morrow is an active community and networking steward. She has served on the local board of directors for Junior Achievement, was a member of its executive committee, chaired the Awareness Committee, and continues to serve as a volunteer teacher for the organization. Ms. Morrow also has chaired and served on the communications committee for the Women & Heart Health Luncheon, American Heart Association. She has served on the marketing committee for the Tech Titan Awards, sponsored by the Richardson Chamber of Commerces Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC). For 2012, Ms. Morrow is leader of the Central Business District (CBD) chapter of Team Networking, a business networking organization.
Ms. Morrow is very actively involved with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) based in Alexandria, Virginia. She serves as a coordinator with Team HOPE, NCMECs family advocacy support group, which helps parents of missing children both in the U.S. and worldwide.
Fluent in Spanish with a working knowledge of Italian and Portuguese, Ms. Morrow holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications from Georgia State University and a Master of Arts degree in Developmental Psychology from the University of Saint Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota.
