Mr. John A. Krol, also known as Jack, serves as a National Vice President of Muscular Dystrophy Association, Inc. Mr. Krol served as the Chief Executive Officer of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company from December 1995 to February 1998, President from October 1995 to October 1997 and its Chairman from October 1997 to January 1999. He joined E.l. du Pont de Nemours & Company in 1963 as a chemist.
Mr. Krol served as the President of GEM, The National Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and Sciences, Inc. He served as the Chairman of Delphi Automotive PLC from 2009 to March 1, 2015. He serves as Chairman of Pacolet-Milliken Enterprises, Inc. He served as Vice Chairman of E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Company from March 1992 to October 1995. He serves as a Director of Norvax, Inc.
He serves as a Director of ACE Limited Insurance Co., Molecular Circuitry, Inc. and ACE Insurance, Ltd. He serves as a Director of Milliken & Company, Inc. He serves on the Advisory Boards of Bechtel Corporation. He served as a Director of Tyco International Ltd. at Tyco International Finance S.A. from August 2002 to March 5, 2014 and served as its Lead Director from August 2002 to March 2008. He served as an Independent Director of Delphi Automotive PLC until April 23, 2015. Mr. Krol served as a Director of Armstrong Holdings Inc. from February 1998 to April 2, 2004.
He served as a Director of Armstrong World Industries, Inc. since February 1998. He served as a Director of Mead Corp. since 1994. He served as a Director of GoHealth, LLC. He served as a Director of MeadWestvaco Corp. since 2002. He served as a Director of J. P. Morgan & Co Inc. since 1997.
He served as an Independent Director of ACE Limited from August 2001 to May 16, 2012. Mr. Krol served as a Director of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. He served as a Director of Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York. He served as a Member of the Advisory Board of Teijin Ltd. He also serves on the Boards of Trustees of the Tufts University and the University of Delaware, Graduate Engineering for Minorities Consortium and Hagley Museum. He is a Member of The Business Council. Mr. Krol graduated from Tufts University where he received a BS and an M.S. in Chemistry.
