Devereaux Peters is a WNBA standout and scholar who is known for her passion and intensity on the court and friendly, outgoing attitude off the court. Peters was the 3rd overall pick in the 2012 WNBA Draft to the Minnesota Lynx after an incredible career at Notre Dame. The first Notre Dame player to register 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 200 blocks, 200 steals and 200 assists in her career, Peters helped lead Team USA to gold in the World University Games in China in 2011. She was the Big East Defensive Player of the Year two years in a row and led Notre Dame to the national title game in 2012. As a rookie in the WNBA in 2012, Peters was a key contributor off the bench, helping lead the Lynx to a Western Conference title.
