Dave Cameron was born July 29, 1958 and is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former professional player. He currently serves as head coach of the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL). As a player, Cameron played in the NHL with the Colorado Rockies and New Jersey Devils between 1981–1984.
Prior to joining the Senators, Cameron served as head coach of the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors of the Ontario Hockey League from 2007–2011, coaching the team to the 2011 Memorial Cup final. Cameron has also served as head coach of the Binghamton Senators of the AHL from 2004–2007, the Toronto St. Michael's Majors of the OHL from 2000–2004, the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the OHL from 1997–1999, and the Detroit Falcons/Port Huron Border Cats franchise in the Colonial Hockey League from 1995–1997.
