Borowitz's humor also appears regularly in The New Yorker, where he started writing in 1998 and has since become one of its most prolific and well-regarded contributors. His work has been collected in many anthologies and in five successful humor books of his own, two of which were finalists for the Thurber Prize for American Humor.
An acclaimed stand-up comedian, he has played to critical raves and packed houses from New York to Sydney, and has emceed such high-profile events as the nationally televised National Book Awards.
