September 1989. Before joining Wiley, he served as President of W.B. Saunders. Mr. Pesce also served as Chief Operating Officer of John Wiley & Sons Inc. since May 1997; Executive Vice President of Educational and International Group since February 1996; and Vice President of Educational Publishing since September 1989. He serves as Vice Chairman at William Paterson University and has been a Trustee since 2002. Mr. Pesce has been an Executive Director of John Wiley & Sons Inc. since May 1, 1998. He is a Member of the Board of Overseers of The Stern School of Business at New York University; the Board of Directors of the Association of American Publishers; and is a member of the Business-Higher Education Forum. Mr. Pesce holds an MBA in Finance from NYU's Stern School of Business. He is a 1973 graduate of William Paterson University, which presented him with its Legacy Award in 2004.
