Troy Drayton was a tight end in the NFL from 1993 to 2000, playing for the Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs. Drafted in 1993 by the Rams, Troy spent three full seasons with the team during which time he started all 48 regular season games. In 1996, he joined the Miami Dolphins where he played for three years with teammates such as quarterback Dan Marino, Richmond Webb and Zach Thomas. Troy finished his professional career in Kansas City playing for the Chiefs during the 2000 season. Before going pro, Troy played college football at Pennsylvania State University from 1989 to 1992. In his last year as a Nittany Lion, Troy helped the team to an 11-2 regular season and a rank of third in the Final AP Poll. Since his retirement from the NFL, Troy has worked in numerous fields, from real estate, to radio broadcasting, to education. After serving as a licensed realtor agent in Florida for two years, Troy became a co-host for the Miami Dolphins All Access and Postgame Shows for WQAM 560 FM. In 2008, he changed pace and became a history teacher for ninth and tenth graders at the Academy High School in South Florida. Troy continues to pursue a career in real estate and radio, currently a licensed realtor associate for Fabian Realty and an analyst on the Finsiders Radio Show. Troy has also served as a Youth and Community Programs Coordinator for the Miami Dolphins and Sun Life Stadium.
