Tim Lincecum was born June 15, 1984 and is an American professional baseball pitcher for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball. He has been nicknamed "The Freak", "The Franchise", and "Big Time Timmy Jim." Lincecum attended the University of Washington, where he won the Golden Spikes Award as the top collegiate player in the nation. He was a first-round draft choice of the Giants in 2006, and debuted in MLB in 2007. Lincecum is a two-time Cy Young Award winner. In his MLB career, Lincecum has appeared in four All-Star Games. He was a member of the 2010, 2012, and 2014 World Series champions, winning the Babe Ruth Award in 2010.
