Ti-Hua Chang was the receipient of the George Foster Peabody Award for his telling documentary "Passport to Kill".
Chang, who was host of the talk show ''Hotline'' which broadcast on WNYC-TV in 1993 and 1994, graduated with his master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
He is committed to reporting "hard" news on both international and local levels. His story on the 1963 assassination of Megar Evers, described as one of his best, resulted in the case being re-opened which led to the imprisonment of the assassin.
Chang has received many other awards for his work, including three regional Emmys.
