Thom Gossom Jr. is an American actor. Gossom played college football for the Auburn Tigers. He was a cast member of the TV series In the Heat of the Night. He made appearances in the 2003 sequel to Jeepers Creepers and Fight Club; as well as guest roles in CSI and other TV shows. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Thom Gossom Jr. received a BA from Auburn University, and his MA from the University of Montevallo. He landed a role on "In the Heat of the Night." The subsequent lead role in the HBO film Miss Evers Boys, propelled the southerner to Hollywood.
