Terrell Davis is a former NFL running back for the Denver Broncos.
He was drafted by the Broncos in the sixth round of the 1995 NFL Draft. Prior to his NFL career, he attended the University of Georgia, playing backup to Garrison Hearst. In his first season, he rushed for 1,117 yards, becoming the lowest drafted player ever to rush for over 1,000 yards in his rookie year.
He led the Broncos to a victory over the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XXXII. In the game, he rushed for 157 yards, caught 2 passes for 8 yards, and became the first player in Super Bowl history ever to score 3 rushing touchdowns. This performance earned him MVP honors. He also was named the league MVP for the 1998 season.
Throughout his career, he led the AFC in rushing twice, the NFL in rushing once, a two-time Super Bowl Champion, was named NFL Offensive Player of the Year two times, and was named to the Pro-Bowl three times.
