Shannon Briggs is an American professional boxer. He is a former lineal and WBO world heavyweight champion, and has defeated three world heavyweight champions during his career in George Foreman, Ray Mercer and Siarhei Liakhovich. Nicknamed "The Cannon", Briggs currently holds the record for most first-round knockouts at 36. He has also had a minor acting career, appearing in the 2003 film Bad Boys II.
