He is originally from Brooklyn and is a Carnegie Mellon University graduate. Shang's most memorable performances was on HBO's "Def Comedy Jam". He has also been on BET's "Comic View Grand Stand," HBO's "Best of the Best," "Politically Incorrect," and "Laffapalooza."
Shang was a co-host on Russell Simmon's "One World Music Beat," and is co-producer and host of BET's "Access Granted." He is a regular on BET's Comic View. Shang has guest starring roles on episodes of "NCIS," "Zack & Cody," "Passions," "Jamie Foxx Show."
