Rick Kirschner is an Institute for Management Studies faculty member, and a sought after resource on conflict, the changing workplace, and life quality issues by such publications as the Wall Street Journal, Executive Excellence, Reader's Digest, Success Magazine, NPR, CNBC, Associated Press, USA Today, and in online forums for Industry Week and Talk City.
Rick Kirschner brings a diverse background to the design and presentation of his programs. He played rock & roll music in Hollywood in the '60's and then was a manager in a scrap iron recycling business while raising Arabian horses in Kentucky in the early '70's. He began his speaking career in 1980 while earning his doctorate in naturopathic medicine. Licensed as a primary care physician in Oregon, Rick specialized in the treatment of stress disorders in private practice from 1981 to 1987. As a business owner, manager, husband and father, Rick has real-world solutions to the types of challenges people face daily, and offers them in an authentic and compelling style. His programs are enjoyable, meaningful, and deliver lasting results.
