Retief Goosen is a professional golfer on the PGA Tour from South Africa. In 1990, he won the South African Amateur Championship and later that year turned professional. Since turning professional, he has been very successful.
Since 1995, Goosen has been known for being one of the most consistent players in the world: he's won internationally every year since 1995, and he's won a PGA TOUR event every year since 2001.
He is known on tour as "The Iceman" for his calm and collected demeanor. While playing professional, he has six PGA Tour victories, including two majors, and thirteen victories on the European Tour.
