Born on November 25, 1960, Ray Bentley is a former professional American football linebacker and became a broadcaster in from 1998 until the present times. His football career was spent on the United States Football League, with the Michigan Panthers and Oakland Invaders, his first three years as professional football player. After that, he played for six seasons with the Buffalo Bills of which it includes the Super Bowl in the year 1990. He joined for the first two years. His football career lasted in the year 1992 with the Cincinnati Bengals. Bentley's broadcasting career started on 1998. He was part of the broadcasting team on the The NFL on Fox for four years. He did color commentary as well as play-by-play part. After those four years on Fox, he left and became a head coach and the general manager of the Arena Football League, the Buffalo Destroyers. He served these positions on the team for two years then he resigned after that. He was back from being a color commentator and play-by-play role for three years on the NBC's Arena Football League coverage. In the year 2007, he has been working for ESPN and then it was also in this year where he returned to be a play-by-play announcer to the Buffalo Bills. And this position is still active on his career. He later works for ABC in the year 2009 and became the USFL's advisory member. And until the present times, he is serving as a radio personality and is a defensive coordinator for Grandville Bulldogs, a high school team.
