Rachael Flatt was born on July 21, 1992. She is an American figure skater. In the years 2008, 2009 and 2011, she won the national silver medal, the 2008 World Junior Champion and the 2010 U.S. National Champion. She represented the United States and won the 7th place during the Winter Olympics in 2010. Flatt competed in 2003 where took home a silver medal at Nationals in juvenile level. In 2004, she won the intermediate title. She was only 12 years in the year 2005 where she played for the ladies' singles but she got the US Novice National title and in 2006 she competed again for, this time for the US Nationals, junior level and won she was then a silver medalist. In 2007, she made it to her senior debut and ranked 5th at the U.S. Championships and also made her international debut and won at the International Challenge Cup. In season 2007-2008, she won a gold medal and silver medal for her 1st and second Junior Grand Prix competition and won again a silver medal for the finals. Another silver medal was taken when she played for the 2008 Nationals. She ranked fourth in the overall 2008 Skate America, won a silver medal in the 2009 Championships and in the 2011 Skate America. She also participated in the 2010 U.S. Championships where she won and ranked 7th for the 2010 Winter Olympics. For the 2011 U.S. Championships, she won a silver medal and was sent to compete for the World Championships, however she was injured. She resumed her skating career as being the 10th placer in the 2011 Skate Canada International. She got the 9th place in the Rostelecom Cup.
