Modi appears regularly at New York City's Caroline's on Broadway, Comedy Cellar, Comic Strip Live, Gotham Comedy Club, and Stand-up New York. He recently had the honor of performing at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC, as well as opening for musical legend Neil Sedaka. He headlines comedy shows at clubs and colleges across the country as well as headlining comedy tours with Stuttering John from The Howard Stern Show. Modi hosts a weekly show, Urban Vaudeville, which Paper Magazine praises "Everyone that goes out on Sunday goes". He was also selected to write and host the Edgy Awards at Tribeca Film Center. He has been featured in Paper Magazine, Lifestyles Magazine, the Friars Epistle, We the People, and has been a contributor to Fashion Police in US Magazine.
Modi has taken his comic style internationally as well. He has been a featured comic at Montreal Comedy Festival's Just for Laughs 20th anniversary last summer. In Amsterdam, he appeared on the hit television series, Comedy Factory. Modi's comedy transcends timelines, countries, and language barriers.
He has appeared on HBO's The Sopranos, NBC's Friday Night Videos, BET's 10th Anniversary of Comic View, METRO Channel's New Joke City with Robert Klein, Comedy Factory, on PCN, Holland's National Broadcasting Network, and on Comedy Central's USO Tour Live from Gutannamo Bay, Cuba. He also has made appearences on both the Howard Stern radio and television shows on E! Entertainment Television. Modi also has appeared in the independent feature films, Rubout, Little Kings and Connecting Dots. He can be seen on the big screen with Chevy Chase and Brooke Shields in Rent-a-Husband.
