Dr. J. Mitchell Perry, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the JM Perry Corporation, is an internationally sought after expert on people. Since 1976, he has been a marriage and family psychotherapist, organizational psychologist and entrepreneur. As a professional speaker, he has made well over 1,000 presentations to many Fortune 500 companies and professional organizations worldwide. He is an ongoing top rated keynoter at the annual Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
Dr. Perry's mission is to “create human leverage.” As part of this mission, he has created many innovative training courses to take humankind to a new level of achievement. In his Perry Teambuilding Adventures, he has created high-impact classroom and adventure experiences to optimize performance and teamwork such as white water rafting, cross-country and alpine skiing, mountaineering, sailing, golfing, and mountain biking all over the world.
Dr. Perry is a radio and television personality who has hosted his own weekly radio show and appears on numerous news and talk shows. Dr. Perry is a syndicated newspaper columnist and has also published more than 50 magazine articles on management and supervision, self-confidence, motivation, effective performance and marriage/family relations. He produced the 12-audio cassette performance development program called The Perry Principles and has produced many audio tapes and CDs covering more than 35 topics. He is on the faculty of The Peoples Network, and his two books, The Road To Optimism and In the Zone, are top sellers.
A graduate of the University of the Pacific, Dr. Perry received his doctorate in counseling psychology and was honored as the 1986 UOP Alumni Fellow. He also served on the Board of Directors of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
