Mike Bobo was born April 9, 1974 and is an American college football coach and is the head coach of the Colorado State Rams football team. He succeeds Jim McElwain at CSU. He becomes the second consecutive SEC offensive coordinator hired to coach the Rams.
Bobo has been at the University of Georgia for the last 14 years. There he had been a Quarterbacks coach all 14 years and been the Offensive Coordinator since 2007 all under Mark Richt. He helped groom very successful Quarterbacks in Matthew Stafford and Aaron Murray.
On December 23, 2014 Bobo had decided to take the head coaching vacancy at Colorado State University, that was previously held by Jim McElwain who left for the head coaching vacancy at the University of Florida.
