Television sportscaster, Michele Tafoya was born December 17, 1964, in Manhattan Beach, California. Tafoya married Mark Vandersall in 2000, and gave birth to her first child, a son named Tyler Bruce Vandersall, on November 21, 2005. Tafoya lives in Edina, Minnesota.
Tafoya works for ESPN as a sideline reporter for Monday Night Football. Tafoya was a co-host for the Mike Tirico Show on ESPN radio. The show, which is now titled Tirico and Van Pelt, is one that she often fills in for as a guest host. She returned to help ABC in their coverage of Super Bowl XL in Detroit as a field reporter with Suzy Kolber. Tafoya has worked as a sideline reporter since 2006.
Tafoya formerly worked at NBA games on ABC. On October 21, 2008, she announced she would be resigning from her duties as head NBA sideline reporter.
Since 2011, she has been a reporter for NBC Sports, featuring as the sideline reporter for NBC Sunday Night Football.
