Michael White was born March 2, 1977 and is an American college basketball coach and former player. He is the current head coach of Florida Gators men's basketball team of the University of Florida. Prior to accepting the job at Florida, White was the head coach of the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs of Louisiana Tech University for four seasons.
On May 7, 2015, he was named head coach of the Florida Gators Basketball team. He replaced Billy Donovan who left to become head coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder. He agreed to a six-year, $12 million deal with the Gators.
