Michael Irvin is regarded as one of the most successful wide receivers in the history of the NFL. Irvin began his football days at St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale , Florida. He was recruited by the University of Miami where he set team records for receptions, receiving yards, and touchdown receptions. He also won a national championship with the University of Miami in 1987. In the 1988 NFL Draft, Irvin was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys.
Michael spent his entire career with the Dallas Cowboys. While with the Cowboys, he won 3 Super Bowls, was selected to five Pro Bowls, and set an NFL record for 11 straight 100-yard games in receiving.
Michael is currently a candidate for the National Football League Hall of Fame. He can be seen on ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown and Monday Night Countdown. He was also a co-star in the movie "The Longest Yard."
