Linda Ellinor is a co-founder of The Dialogue Group and loves to convene and lead learning groups. She is a dancer, musician, writer, and is currently authoring a book and blog on the topic of “Dialogue as a Way of Life.” Linda will be offering workshops on this theme and others in the Spring of 2015. Her workshops and learning groups encourage participants to integrate a sustainable and holistic worldview in their day-to- day lives inspiring them to discover and then apply their personal passions in service of shaping our collective future.
Linda holds a PhD (abd) in Jungian Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, and an MBA from Columbia University and has contributed in recent years on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations such as Sustainable Tucson, the Unitarian Universalist Church, and the Shamanic Astrology Mystery School. She is a co-author of the book Dialogue: Rediscover the Transforming Power of Conversation, John Wiley & Sons, 1998.
Linda moved from northern California to southern Arizona in 2007 to develop an eco-wellness center called The Floating Stone Inn & Aqua Spa. She redeveloped the founding father of Arizonaʼs historic home in Tubac, modeling sustainable building practices. Using water-ionization technology, Linda was able to offer guests a 21st Century eco-environment that was chlorine and chemical free.
Linda has worked in several Fortune companies such as AT&T, the International Paper Company, and the Exxon Office systems, and a start up company, called Mnemos. In these companies she held marketing positions translating customer needs into new products and services. In her 30s and 40s, she worked as a career consultant for Drake, Beam Morin helping clients with mid-career changes. She also served as an executive coach for the Center for Creative Leadership in La Jolla helping clients develop more awareness of their innate leadership abilities. During this time she, along with her partner, Glenna Gerard, became known for their workshops on Dialogue based on the work of David Bohm. Her passion during these years was to help her clients be all they could be in their lives through increased self awareness and enhanced communication skills.
