Larry Leech spent eighteen years writing, editing, and managing news and sports departments at various newspapers in Pennsylvania, Ohio, California and Florida. He finished his journalism career with a five-year stint as editor of Christian Retailing magazine, the leading trade publication in the Christian industry. One of the highlights of Larry Leech’s professional career came in 2009 when he was selected with five other Christian journalists to tour the Holy Land as a guest of the Israeli Ministry of Tourism. With more than 2,300 articles published, Larry moved into freelance book editing and writing in 2004. Since that time he has authored / ghost written more than a dozen books and edited more than 150 manuscripts. He has also written back cover copy and press releases for numerous publishers. For more than two years Larry Leech has served as Executive Director of Christian Writers Guild Word Weavers, owned by New York Times bestselling author Jerry B. Jenkins. During his tenure the organization of face-to-face critique groups has grown to more than thirty chapters in fifteen states and two countries. Now a frequent teacher at writers conferences, Larry offers help and encouragement to aspiring writers with individual mentoring.
