Kevin Cashman is a bestselling author, keynote speaker and internationally recognized pioneer in the field of CEO and executive development. He is currently Senior Partner, CEO & Executive Development, at Korn Ferry.
In a career devoted to his “grow the whole person to grow the whole leader” approach to integrated leadership development, Kevin Cashman focuses on optimizing executive, team, and organizational performance, founding companies, Market Share Inc. and LeaderSource, and leadership programs, Executive to Leader Institute and Chief Executive Institute, in the process. In all these roles, Cashman was responsible for training executives, professionals and teams on a global scale.
Over the past 20+ years, Mr. Cashman and his team have coached thousands of senior executives and senior teams to enhance performance. He is the founder of the Executive to Leader Institute recognized by Fast Company as the “Mayo Clinic” of leadership development for its interdisciplinary approach to executive coaching. Clients include: General Mills, Novartis, Avery Dennison, 3M, Medtronic, State Street Bank, Carlson Companies and Honeywell.
During his time at LeaderSource, Cashman worked with leaders and teams from notable multinational corporations and brands such as 3M, American Express, Avery Dennison, Carlson Companies, General Mills, Novartis, Pillsbury, and Honeywell.
In 2006, Cashman joined Korn/Ferry International, a global leadership and talent consulting practice, as Senior Partner, CEO and Executive Development, when the firm acquired LeaderSource and its two flagship programs.
Cashman has authored six books on leadership and career development, including the best-seller, Leadership from the Inside Out. In September 2012, he published The Pause Principle: Step Back to Lead Forward, which focuses on the paradox that pause powers purposeful performance.
Cashman was also a regular contributor to the Forbes blog entitled, “Consult Cashman: A Forum for Senior Leaders,” which engaged top-level executives on emerging leadership issues. In November 2012, he began contributing to a blog on Forbes, entitled, “Pause Point,” focusing on helping leaders to step back to sort through complexity and make more sound decisions.
A frequent keynote speaker at conferences and corporate events, Mr. Cashman was formerly the co-host of the CareerTalk radio program. He has been chapter president, board member and fellow of the International Association of Career Management Professionals. He is a Senior Fellow of the Caux Roundtable, a global consortium of CEOs dedicated to enhancing principle-based leadership internationally. He is also a former Board Member of Youth Frontiers, bringing character and leadership development to tens of thousands of school age children each year.
