Keith Schacht is an American serial entrepreneur and angel investor. He was named as one of the top 20 entrepreneurs under 25 by BusinessWeek, was a speaker at the TED Conference, and has been featured in Forbes, Fortune, Business 2.0, and Wired.
Schacht helped found his first company while he was in college. It designed and developed custom software. After selling that company, he founded Iventables, a company that educates companies about new materials and technologies, in 2002. The company was featured in Forbes in 2006 and Wired in 2007. It was here he delivered a TED talk on "Toys from the Future" in 2005.
In 2007, Schacht founded Crafted Fun, a company that was pioneering the development of applications for Facebook. There the company helped develop the "Grow a Gift" Facebook app, which was downloaded and used by millions of users. Schacht would join Facebook in 2010 and helped develop an updated News Feed for the popular social media site. He left the company in 2012.
Schacht has founded numerous other companies and served on many other boards. Mr. Schacht has been an Advisor of Nurturing Wisdom since January 2006. Mr. Schacht Founded JobCoin in September 2006 and served as Co-Editor of Freshwater Venture from June 2006 to June 2007.
He was named by BusinessWeek as one of the top 20 entrepreneurs under 25 and Featured in Forbes, Fortune, BusinessWeek, Business 2.0 for the work done with Inventables LLC.
