Jordan Reed was born July 3, 1990 and is a tight end for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Florida. He was selected by the Redskins in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Reed was drafted in the third round, 85th overall pick, by the Washington Redskins in the 2013 NFL Draft. On May 24, 2013, he officially signed a four-year contract with the team. In the Week 2 game against the Green Bay Packers, he would record his first career touchdown, making him the first Redskins rookie to score a touchdown within the first two games of his career since retired tight end Chris Cooley in 2004.
