Born on September 15, 1960, Joe Morris is a former American football. He was a running back in the National Football League who had been playing for the New York Giants starting from the year 1982 up to 1988. In his early times, he had attended Ayer High School in Massachusetts where he was an All-State in two sports. During his college days, he went to Syracuse University where he became an All-American choice by his senior year. He was then selected to play in the Blue-Gray, the East-West Shrine as well as in the Senior Bowl games. His professional career in football began when he got drafted by the New York Giants. He was a second round pick in the 1982 National Football League Draft. He was a key member of the New York Giants that won the Super Bowl Championship in the year 1987. He was also selected to the Pro Bowl in the year 1985 as well as in the 1986 seasons and he had also received an All-NFL Honors for his performance in those two years. He retired from his professional career in football in the year 1991 with the Cleveland Browns. He finished his National Football Career with 5,585 rushing yards, 111 receptions for 960 yards, and 52 touchdowns. In recent times, he is working in real estate and insurance. He was also the co-owner of the New Jersey Red Dogs of the Arena Football League.
