Born on September 26, 1989, Jimmy Feigen is an American college and international swimmer who compete in freestyle events. He attended high school at Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio, Texas where he swam for the Churchill Chargers high school swim team. He held the high school national record in the 100-yard freestyle (43.05) and the 50-yard freestyle (19.49). He was the Texas UIL Class 5A state champion in the 50-yard freestyle from 2006 until 2008 and was the National Boys' High School Swimmer of the Year in 2008. In college, he got an athletic scholarship at the University of Texas where he swam for the Texas Longhorns swimming and diving team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) competition from the year 2009 up to 2012. He earned seventeen All-American honors and won NCAA national championships in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle, and 4x100-yard freestyle relay events in 2012. He was named to the USA Swimming's National Team in the 50-meter freestyle due to his results at the Nationals. In the 2011 Summer Universiade in Shenzhen he earned his first international medal of his career where he won a gold medal in the 4x100-meter freestyle relay and another gold medal for the US team. He also got a gold medal in the 100-meter freestyle making him the first American man to win in that event since 1993. He got a silver medal for the 4x100-meter medley relay.
