Her most memorable moment from Season 1 occurred when the final nine castaways received videos from home, the entirety of which they would compete for. Shown tidbits of the tapes, the castaways were crying, and Jenna greatly anticipated seeing her daughters, but Jeff Probst was displeased to announce the tape never came in. Jenna broke down into tears. She was eventually voted off for being a member of Pagong, particularly because she was set to receive a vote from Sean (another contestant who boasted an alphabetical strategy) and the Tagi Four, worried that Richard Hatch would be targeted, decided to go along with Sean for the automatic majority. Jenna was voted out 4-3-1.
After the first Season of Survivor, Lewis and other former castaways starred in an episode of Nash Bridges. Lewis played Inspector Leek's neighbor/dog walker.
In the first episode of the All-Star season, she successfully lobbied for Tina Wesson's elimination on the grounds that a former winner (in Wesson's case, the second season in the Outback) shouldn't be allowed to win again. This marked Jenna's new, more aggressive strategy that would eventually get her to third place. At the last Immunity Challenge, Jenna was sure she would win, but a subtle lift of her foot disqualified her and she was (basically) automatically ousted because of the relationship between the other two, Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich (now also Mariano). She got the vote.
Jenna is also known for the release of an explicit celebrity sex tape in 2004 featuring her and her husband having sex and other sexual activity during their wedding night in a Las Vegas hotel room, an ironic event given that Lewis had turned down an offer to pose for Playboy immediately following her stint on Survivor. Because of "unsolvable differences," Jenna and her husband Travis divorced.
In the summer of 2005, Jenna was casted in the made-for-TV movie, The Scorned. The movie was unique in that all its stars were Reality TV stars, including Jonny Fairplay, Trish Schneider, and Steven Hill, the latter of which played Jenna's love interest in the movie and became Jenna's boyfriend. The filming of the movie was documented and released as another reality show, Kill Reality.
