In television, Ms. Curtis co-starred opposite Richard Lewis in the sitcom Anything But Love, as well as the title role in TNT’s adaptation of Wendy Wasserstein’s play, The Heidi Chronicles, and the CBS telefilm Nicholas’ Gift for which she earned an Emmy nomination. She recently appeared as Dr. Samantha Ryan on NCIS and proudly played one of the plaintiffs, Sandy Stier, in ‘8’ the play by Dustin Lance Black about the 2010 federal court case against Proposition 8.
She is currently playing the role of Cathy Munsch in Fox's Horror Comedy "Scream Queens."

Ms. Curtis has a deep and active connection to many children’s charities. Ms. Curtis is a recovering alcoholic/addict and was honored to have served on the Board of Directors of CASA (The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University) and The Scott Hitt Foundation. She is currently serving on the Board of Trustees at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
She is the mother of Annie, age 26 and Thomas, age 17 and has been married for 28 years to actor/director Christopher Guest.
