James got his start studying graphic design at the Sydney Institute of Technology for three years. Soon after, he decided to follow in his grandfather and great-grandfather's footsteps and began a four-year apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery. Now 31, he has spent the past 10 years working as a qualified carpenter for his own business, Lunday Construction, doing everything from small renovations and repairs through to building a new house from the ground up. When he's not working, he likes to travel, surf or ride around on his Softail Harley-Davidson.
