Mr. Jack Daly is a Vice President in the Principal Investment Area (PIA) at Goldman Sachs Group, Merchant Banking Division. He focuses on late-stage private equity investments at the firm, where Mr. Daly has served since 2000. He also serves as the Vice President at Micron Holdings Inc.
Prior to joining PIA, Mr. Daly served in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs, focusing on communications, media, and entertainment companies. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs ... in 1998, he spent six years as a Senior Instructor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Case Western Reserve University teaching manufacturing, design, and product development. Mr. Daly has been a Director at IPC Acquisition Corp. since December 2001. He also serves on the Boards at IPC Information Systems, Gains Asia, Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, and Clearwire Holdings.
Mr. Daly serves as a Director at Autocam Corp. and Micron Holdings Inc. He also served as a Visiting Professor of Industrial Engineering at Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand. While on the faculty at Case, Mr. Daly started two companies, Daly Technology and ADApt America.
He has been featured on ABC World News, The New York Times, and other media for his work at the Case Engineering Service Group, which Mr. Daly founded in 1991. He also helped build a Masters of Engineering degree program that combined elements of engineering and business curricula and directed a distance-learning program.
Mr. Daly received a B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
