His background includes a BA from Harvard University, a Masters degree in Psychological Education from the University of Massachusetts, and three honorary doctorates in human behavior and public service. For the past 20 years, Jack's been the CEO of the Canfield Training Group and president of Self-Esteem Seminars in Santa Barbara, CA. He has designed and conducted seminars on Maximum Confidence, Self-Esteem and Peak Performance , Creating Breakthrough Results, Abundance and Prosperity, The Success Principles , Couples Relationships, and Training the Trainer.
Jack is also the founder of the Foundation for Self-Esteem in Culver City, California, where he has designed programs for and worked with prisoners, welfare recipients, gang members, and inner-city youth. As a result, he was appointed by the state legislature to the historic California Task Force to Promote Self-Esteem and Personal and Social Responsibility. He has also served on the Board of Trustees of the National Council for Self-Esteem.
