Heather Locklear made an unforgettable mark on television with her roles in the Aaron Spelling dramas "Dynasty" and "Melrose Place".
Locklear joined the cast of the primetime soap "Dynasty", playing Sammy Jo Dean in 1981. Her role was intended to be a brief visit but the visit turned into eight seasons on the series.
During this time she also held a simultaneous role on the police drama "T.J. Hooker" from 1982-1986. Locklear co-starred alongside William Shatner. The beautiful and successful actress also married bad boy rocker Tommy Lee in 1985.
Her opportunity to enchant America further appeared as she joined the cast of Fox's "Melrose Place" from 1993 to 1999. The actress's character, Amanda Woodward, was slightly older and wiser than the group of twenty-some things that already populated the series.
"Melorse Place" came to an end in 1999, but it wasn't long before Heather Locklear was cast in the New York-set political sitcom "Spin City". Her portrayal of Caitlin Moore, a driven campaign manager spearheading the mayor's bid for the US Senate, won her two Golden Globe Nominations.
Heather Locklear can most recently be seen playing a young and hopeful single mother in the Hilary Duff romantic comedy "The Perfect Man".
