Dr. Linda has been able to combine a successful media career while concurrently maintaining her prestigious academic and clinical practice. Apart from her regular television and radio appearances Linda is currently heading up a large-scale study into the psychological effects of skin disease in collaboration with dermatologists from St. Thomas' hospital. She has published widely in the field of counseling and medical psychology and has been nominated for the Annual Counseling Psychology Award 2001 by the British Psychological Society. She has been invited to present her research at various international conferences.
