Since 2001, Donovan has served three combat deployments with the United States Marine Corps. After his military commitment ended, Donovan entered the business world as part of PepsiCo's Leadership Development Program and then as the COO of one of North America's fifty largest printing companies. In 2009, Random House published his first book, New-York-Times best-seller "Joker One." In April 2013, Random House published Donovan's second book, "The Leader's Code," describing the virtues-based, servant-leader model that is effective both on and off the battlefield.
Donovan is passionate about the unconventional revolution taking place in the oil and gas industry and the effects that the revolution will have - economically, geopolitically, and otherwise - in the United States and across the world.
