Mr. Dick Herman Harryvan, M.Ec served as Member of the Management Board Banking of ING Bank (Australia) Ltd., since June 2009 and also as its Chief Executive Officer of ING Direct and International from April 2006 to January 2010. Mr. Harryvan serves as Member of Executive Board of ING Verzekeringen N.V. He served as Member of Executive Board of ING Groep NV since April 25, 2006 until June 1, 2009. He served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Risk Officer and Member of the Global Management Team of ING Direct from 2005 to 2006. Mr. Harryvan served as General Manager of Direct Banking, ING Europe and Commercial Banking since January 1999. From 1993 to 1997, he held several management positions with INGs international retail banking activities. His Professional experience includes Management trainee at Nationale-Nederlanden in Rotterdam from 1979 to 1980; Assistant vice president of Peerless Insurance Company, Keene, NH, USA from 1980 to 1984; Vice president of Information Systems, Planning and Research, Halifax Insurance Companies, Toronto, Canada from 1984 to 1986; Vice president Operations for Halifax Life Insurance Company, Toronto, Canada from 1986 to 1988; Senior vice president of Corporate Development for NN Financial, Toronto, Canada from 1988 to 1989; Manager of International Division, Nationale-Nederlanden, The Hague, the Netherlands from 1989 to 1993 and General Manager of ING Direct, Amsterdam from 1995 to 2005. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Harryvan served as a Project Leader for a start-up bank in Greece and the Project Leader for the Canadian DIRECT response banking project. Previously, he served as General Manager of Bancassurance for the International Division of ING Bank N.V. in the Netherlands from 1993 to 1994, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of an international bancassurance strategy. In addition to his career at ING, Mr. Harryvan served as a Project Leader for the Nationale-Nederlanden N.V. in the Netherlands. Prior to that, he handled corporate planning, human resources and information systems for insurance companies and financial institutions in Canada and the US. He serves as Member of Executive Board at ING Bank (Eurasia) ZAO. Mr. Harryvan served as Member of Executive Board of ING Bank N.V since April 25, 2006. Mr. Harryvan serves as the Director of Ing Bank, FSB and ING Bank of Canada. He served as a Director of ING Bank (Australia) Ltd. from July 2006 to January 2010. He is the Member of the Board for Netherlands-Canadian Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Harryvan holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Mr. Harryvan holds a degree in business economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, majoring in finance.
