In the course of her creative life she has tested this idea by embracing many artistic disciplines: floral design, jewelry, decorative accessories, painting, acting, writing and photography.

All of Love's experience as a designer for the home, fashion and work as a painter have provided the yeast for her new book, Yes/No Design: Discover Your Decorating Style with Taste-Revealing Exercises and Examples. In it she marries her professional knowledge of technical ideas with actual design experiences. During her interview with Joan Hamburg on New York City's Radio Station WOR, Hamburg said about Love's book, "you are not taking away the power form the person but giving them permission to do it". Love's Yes/No Method is practical, fun and effective: it seeks to ignite every person's imagination and confidence. Love says, "There is no such thing as bad taste there is just your taste" and is keen on explaining how this sweeping approach to interior design applies to everyone.

Love first started in business as a dealer in English, American and Japanese Antiques but soon felt the need to personalize her shop and so introduced silk flowers of her own design; she became known as the originator of a new look in faux flowers, a flower arranging style she explained in her book, Flowers are Fabulous: For Decorating. The Metropolitan Museum, The New York City Opera and Revlon all engaged her to create arrangements.

Using her Madison Avenue shop in New York City as a home base, she created and established boutiques in major department stores nationwide such as Bloomingdale's and Burdines. These boutiques exemplifies her unique approach to flower arranging, objects for interior decoration and home fragrance. She put her design philosophy to the test again when she turned her hand to jewelry design, a field she entered at the same time she designing flowers and decorative objects. Her jewelry designs, art objects mounted in contemporary settings, were radical in concept when they were introduced. Several pieces of her jewelry were selected to be part of the exhibition and book, Jewels of Fantasy, which documented the most important costume jewelry designers of the 20th Century. The exhibition has traveled to major museums and venues around the world, such as the Victoria and Albert in London and the F.I.T. in Manhattan.

Love's work as a professional actor on the Off Off Broadway stage adds energy and dynamism to her personal appearances. She has lectured at the Corcoran Gallery, Washington, D.C., and The Museum of the City of New York, as well as to women's groups.
