David Glazer is director of engineering for Google’s data portability project, Friend Connect. He previously co-founded Eloquent Inc., where he was chief technology officer, and was a founder of Verity Inc., a leading provider of enterprise knowledge retrieval solutions for corporate intranets, online publishers, OEMs, and ISVs. During his tenure at Verity, Glazer led a wide variety of software development projects, including the design and implementation of Verity’s text-indexing engine, database, and Web server products. Prior to Verity, he was with Lotus Development Corporation, where he was a principal in the development of Lotus Manuscript, the company’s high-end document editor.
