Darren Pang was a goaltender for the Chicago Blackhawks from 1984 to 1989.
Pang was one of the shortest players ever in the modern era of the NHL (5"5'). He was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team in 1988. In the 1987-1988 season, he set a goaltender record for most assists in a season with six.
Pang suffered a knee injury during the Blackhawks' 1990 training camp that ended his career.
Darren Pang is currently a color analyst for the St. Louis Blues TV broadcasts and a part-time playoff analyst for TSN. He has been an analyst for many other outlets in his broadcasting career.
