Dan Tripps has devoted his life to understanding the psychology of achievement. His life's work has been to help individuals to find greatness professionally and personally.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Sport Psychology from the Univserity of Oregon, M. A. in Education from Stanford University, B. A. in English and Social Studies from University of Southern California and San Francisco State University.
Dan Tripps is the Executive Director of the American Institute of Sport and Affliliated Human Performance Laboratory as well as Department Chair of Sport Studies at Seattle University. He teaches the Psychology of Leadership and Achievement. Dan also taught at Seattle Pacific University for 20 years.
Dan travels across the United States speaking at univerisites and also serves as a consultant to government, education and business.
During his career he has coached more than forty nationally and world-ranked athletes and guided high school, college and U. S. national teams to championship competition.
Dan is the founder of Sport for Understanding, a U. S. Department contract program that origanizes international exchange of athletes and coaches.
Dan Trips is an author, has served as an editor for ten textbooks in elite human performance, and has written dozens of articles.
