Clive James Standen better known as Clive Standen is an English actor. He was born on July 22, 1981 in Holywood, United Kingdom. He studied at at the King Edward VII School, Melton Mowbray. At the age of fifteen Standen was a member of both the National Youth Theatre and the National Youth Music Theatre. He started his acting career in 2004 when he made his debut in the TV series Waking the Dead by playing the role Martin Raynor. In the same year he made his film debut by portraying the role of Canadian commanding Officer in the film Ten Days to D-Day. In 2005 he made his appearance in 3 episodes of TV series Doctors in which he played the role of Charlie Halliday. In 2007 he made his appearance in the film Namastey London in which he played the supporting role of Charlie Brown. In 2009 he played the role of Archer in the TV series Robin Hood. In 2013 he made his debut as a main cast in the TV series Vikings by playing the role Rollo.
He married Francesca Standen in 2007 and the couple has three children.
