Prior to founding Brit + Co. in late 2011, Brit worked for Google, where she spent four years helping to launch and grow products like Google TV, Google Maps, Google Search and iGoogle. Before Google, she was at Apple, working with iTunes. Brit currently serves as an advisor and investor in several technology startups. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and currently lives in the Bay Area with her husband, Dave, and their dog, Pixel.
