Bethany Mota was born in Modesto, California, on November 7, 1995. Bethany was home-schooled along with her older sister Brittney for most of her life. In her spare time, she browsed YouTube and discovered the Beauty Community on it.
Bethany Mota created her YouTube account in 2009 when she as 14. Her first video was a haul video titled "First Video :) Mac and Sephora Haul." Her most popular video is a room tour video titled "ROOM TOUR!!!" (Macbarbie07). It has over 6 million views.
Bethan's goal was to help young girls feel confident in themselves and feel good about themselves. Despite her channel being about makeup, Bethany wants everyone to know that they're beautiful know matter what.
