Anne Kreamer has been at the forefront of the media world from the beginning of her career. In the late 70s and into the 1980s she was Associate Director of International Programming for The Children’s Television Workshop, distributing and co-producing Sesame Street around the world
She then helped launch groundbreaking SPY magazine, and in the 1990s she was Worldwide Creative Director for Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite.Anne then transitioned into a new career as a journalist and a columnist for the cutting-edge business magazine Fast Company, followed by a column she originated for Martha Stewart Living. In 2007, Anne published her first book, "Going Gray, What I Learned About Beauty, Sex, Work, Motherhood, Authenticity And Everything Else That Matters." Anne’s new book, "It’s Always Personal: Emotion in the New Workplace," has once again become a prescient, media-worthy touchstone for what’s simmering beneath the surface in our culture.
Anne has spoken to professional organizations, women’s groups and students on a wide variety of topics inspired by her two books. Her unique and extensive professional background as an executive and entrepreneur along with her plainspoken insight into the challenges and pressures of modern life make her a timely and compelling speaker. A graduate of Harvard, Anne lives in New York City with her husband, the writer Kurt Andersen and their two daughters.
