Hi! I’m Amber, a professional matchmaker for NBC’s Ready For Love, a relationship/dating coach, writer, producer, wife and mother.
My professional matchmaking career began 17 years ago when my mother Jill Kelleher, asked if I wanted to join her in a partnership. She had opened the doors to a unique personal search firm 11 years prior, in 1986. I was so excited to work along side my mother – she had always been my best friend.
27 years later, Kelleher International is recognized as the International Uber Matchmaking Firm responsible for thousands of relationships and marriages.
Serving as CEO over the past 17 years, and working side by side with my mother, I have been instrumental in the expansion of KI- from it’s humble beginnings in San Francisco, to over 13 locations both nationally & internationally. We’ve matched thousands of clients ranging from Silicon Valley Exec’s, Professional Athletes, to Famous Actors and CEO’s. With matchmaking being so popular these days, it’s fun to tell people that we were first on the map!

I’m also a blogger for SF GATE and The Huffington Post.
In case you didn’t already guess, I’m a hopeless romantic. I believe there’s a perfect match out there for everyone! My mother always told me that there’s a lid for every pot and she is right! When I make a connection with someone, I will support them til the end -which you will see me do on Ready For Love.
My personal life is pretty normal. Northern California is where I chose to raise my family. It’s just so beautiful! I live here my husband and our three children. My husband Nico, is a world class athlete and holds a Gold Medal in the Pan American Ju-Jitsu Championship. He is a Martial Arts Master and a Horse Whisperer. Not what you expected right? Well we are happy to be celebrating 23 years together this year. We met in 1990 at work (a supper club in LA called The Roxbury) and have been in love ever since.
I love working with people as a personal matchmaker and in coaching them. Finding someone a match is just the beginning. Maintaining a solid and positive relationship is a life long challenge, and one that I love to help people with!
