He served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Valassis from 1996 to 1998 and also as an Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Valassis from 1992 to 1996. Mr. Schultz ... has held positions as Director of Insert Operations and Vice President of the Central Sales Division at Valassis since 1984. He serves as a Director of R.H. Donnelley Inc. He has been a Director of Valassis Communications Inc. since December 19, 1995 and RH Donnelley Corp. since May 12, 2005. He serves as a Director of The Advertising Council, Inc. Mr. Schultz serves on the Board of Directors for both the Ad Council and the American Advertising Federation. He serves as Chairman of Compensation and Benefits Committee and Member of Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee of Dex Media Inc. Mr. Schultz is a Certified Public Accountant with audit experience with Deloitte and Touche. He graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan, where he received his B.B.A.
